I have a pom now, he is 10 months old. He has the best personality, loves everyone he meets. He is a great guard dog, barks if someone comes to the door. He does shed some, a couple of times a year when he gets his coat for the new season, which he just did a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty bad had to sweep daily but now he has stopped. Other than the couple of times a year he has not shed in between. I try to brush him weekly at least, but when he is shedding I do it daily. He likes to be with me where ever I am in the house, which is fine with me. All 3 of my dogs follow me all over the house. So I would say they do require someone around a lot just like any smaller dog they like human companionship. I highly recommend this breed. Oh and he LOVES LOVES LOVES my yorkie puppy Lily. They are best buds. |
