Jake didn't like clothes in the beginning, but I kept trying because I want him to get used to them so that I can keep him warm when it's cold, and so that wearing a harness will be a little easier. He would hide his face and not look at me or turn his back on me, but he never stayed mad long. That seems to be his "punishment" of choice...to ignore me. He did the same thing when I was vaccuming the house and I put him in my room and shut the door until I was finished because he doesn't like the vaccum. When I opened the door and told him he could come out, he stood up, turned around to face away from me and layed down in his bed lol.

I started showing him a treat along with whatever shirt I was going to put on him. Then, I would put the shirt on him and give him the treat. I found him to be much more cooperative this way, and he doesn't even mind getting dressed now. I started out by leaving the shirt on him only for a few minutes and increasing the time each day. I really only put clothes on him at night when it's chilly, and I think he realizes that he's warmer with something on.

Fortunately, he doesn't pay me back by pottying wherever he chooses.
