I do understand non-refundable deposit however, I would like that would mean if you changed your mind..You never even had the puppy...This isn't your fault that the puppy died. If you still want to buy from this breeder I would ask her if you could apply this deposit to the new puppy. Even if they are spoken for YOU should still be able to get one from this litter...again...this wasn't YOUR fault. If she doesn't want to refund or apply to another pup then I would seek legal counsel...
