Before you leave, try feeding her in the car while you're parked at home. At this time you'll be eating your take-outs and want her getting used to eating in the car. We had to do that when we took our round trip to Florida 2800 miles and it worked out fine. Just watch out at some rest area stops, people do not clean up after their dogs so we parked away from the pet area and our 2 girls used their puppy pads. It worked ok for them. They slept most of the way mostly. Be sure to bring a jug of fresh water from home and her favorite foods, toys and/or blanket.

Don't under any circumstances leave them alone in the car at ANYTIME.
Planning ahead helps and it seems like you've got it together ok. Just make sure her harness and leash are secured at all times so she don't get away and get lost. Have her tags secured to her harness also.

Don't forget to bring copies of her health records and if she's microchipped, that information also, just in case.

Good luck with your trip !
