When I got Coco she didn't eat that much either, but was only 7 weeks. I even thought that the breeder lied to me about her eating on her own. But that same night while I was sleeping I heard her get up and go to her bowl and she ate (a lot) on her own. Did you make sure that you mixed whatever the breeder was feeding her with what you want to feed her? Even though Pedigree isn't the greatest dog food I had to mix it with Cocos Nutro Natural Choice because that was what she was used to. Then little by little I put less Pedigree in the food, and now she's eating the Natural Choice without the Pedigree but I still have to feed her by hand some times and give her NutriCal everyday. |
