It was probably a little premature since she whelped earlier than you expected. Was it the smallest? I have lost a couple within the first 24 hours myself. Right at first they seem normal and are trying to suckle along with the rest of them and then they go down hill very quickly. I hope it wasn't the tail docking. I've never lost one due to that, but I always do it about Day 4. Glad all the others are doing well. |
