When threads are closed, I think it solves a lot of problems/concerns; things are not allowed to get too far. I do, however, become disappointed when a thread is closed (i.e. one about a particular treat) and I am not able to defend myself. I guess that stems back to me needing to have the last word at all times. Everyone ends up taking sides and friends defend friends just like it is in the real world. I think people who make personal attacks should not be warned and immediately banned.
