Thanks Julz. Yes, I know about the high cost of raising pups, since this is not new to me. But wanted to share, since many do not know and complain about the cost of a pup. I do everything in my power to make sure I get healthy pups, since I want the best pups possible. Health and soundness is my number one concern. I am hoping to keep one possible pup myself, hopefully for show. I just hope all goes well.
I think what happened to Keekee was that she is not use to be away from home and not eating when she wants. I felt so bad to have put her through this, but know it (giving all the tests) is very important before I would even consider breeding her. She is doing great and happy as can be again.
I plan to show her at a match soon, but she is just not show/ring personality, my opinion. She loves to lick the air when she gets a little nervous, but is gorgeous!! The stud owner asked if I really wanted to breed her now since she is in show coat and you know how that goes with pups. But will see how the match goes. Any ideas how to get her to quite licking the air? LOL
Here is a picture of her.Enjoy!
