Anyway I was just in Brooklyn, I bought Sissy at Puppy Petite near you. If I had know the mark up before I made the trip, I would have bought her here in Michigan but Chloe & my G'ma fell in love with her when we went to visit. (She is hard to train & sneeky and an instigator with Chloe) We love her, but I think Puppy Petite runs a puppy mill from what I am reading I can tell so many differences in her & Chloe, I do hope it is personality and not puppy mill material, next time I know better...
As far as grooming goes, my sister is a great groomer, she lives in Long Island but visits my G'ma every weekend in Richmond Hill Queens ( not far from Brooklyn) so if you ever need a 2nd opinion on what to believe or what not to, we may be able to get it from her. Next time I'm in NY we should try to get together. |
Where is Puppy Petite? I bought Max at Puppy Boutique - I also think it might be a puppy mill place. I just went in to see how it felt to hold a yorkie, and, needless to say, Max was paid for and in my house within 2 hours. I just fell in love with him immediately. He's a very nice little dog. He's learning to go on the pads, and he has a really nice personality, so I don't think puppy mills necessarily make for personality issues unless they're genetically nutso. I was concerned that he was healthy, and according to the vet, there are no puppy mill problems, so I just stopped caring.
Let me know when you're coming to NY again. I'm retiring in November and will have free time!!!
