I don't know for sure if it helps medically I'm sure someone will though. I do know a lot of people on here feed veges to there pup. Mine gets carrots, which she loves and sometimes greenbeans. Usually we use the carrots for training and treats and rarely gets any kind of dog treats. I've heard that the carrots are good for the digestive system. Also when I go to chick-fil-a(Its a southern fast food chain) I get fruit and if Reagan's in the car with me I share it with her. I would just make sure what you are giving her isn't harmful to her. I believe there is a post on here that lists a lot of the things that are toxic for dogs, so you may want to check that out first.
