 Puppy fruit
I just read the "constipated from banannas" forum and it reminded me to ask you all this.
Do any of you have an opinion about feeding a dog fruit and veggies? My mother swears by it. She fed her toy poodle a bowl of cut up fruit and veggies (apple, orange, raisins, carrots, and broccoli) every morning for the dogs entire life and she swears that it helped keep her coat glossy, her skin from getting dry, and kept her from getting cateracts when she was older. Is there any truth to this? When Syd gets off of puppy food should I start doing this? |
