I echo Dawn's sentiments..........do it..........do it!!!!! You won't regret it for a second!! Gabby was 8 years old when we rescued Gage and brought him into our home. She did not like him in the beginning, would rather have had him not invade "her" space. It took a little time of adjustment but now they get along fine
