Bruce was purchased for me by my mother at a puppy store (they only sell puppies), she was very naive about puppymills and the people at the store really lied to her about his origins...No problems with temperment (except he has been slightly aggressive recently but a behaviorist is sure this is fear after having been attacked and we can fix it). He is loving, affectionate, and very smart....Physically however he is the poster child for why you should not buy from a place that sells milled dogs...While he is happy and healthy now this is only after 2 root canals to shorten his teeth so they did not puncture the top of his mouth, a jaw surgery to fix his bite so he could eat properly (this was done w/ the root canals), severe allergies, LP that needed surgery in both knees...It it is just so awful to me that because of the greed of a few horrible people my innocent and sweet baby has had to go through all this in order to be healthy and enjoy life...NEVER BUY A DOG FROM A PET STORE!!! |
