It is a commitment. But with a reward of love you never dreamed of. To me it's just like having a baby. My kids are grown and I was having empty nest syndrome when I decided I wanted a yorkie. I had a lot of people try to talk me out of it. I have a friend whose parents have one and she wanted me to get one. Anyway my girl is 12 wks old. She wants to chew on my hands not the furniture. She is just like any other puppy, you have to keep an eye on her and if you don't she will get into something. I use a baby playpen set up in my den. If I am doing something that I can't watch her she goes in the playpen. They are wonderful animals but do require a lot of attention. ( which is not hard he he
