It was my yorkie that chewed the hole in the carpet. I believe it was as much my fault as his. It was a hectic day at our house. We had workers in and out of the house. I put Chachi upstairs and left him for the better part of the day so he would not get outside when someone came in to use the restroom. I din't give him any chew toys. He got agrivated and chewed the carpet. That is the first time he had did this. I never lock him up so I feel he was just acting out. He has chewed on a cord before or a shoe. For the most part though the chewing is controllable if you make sure they have chew bones when they are teething. Sorry I scared you! This is just normal puppy stuff but I do feel responsible that Chachi chewed the carpet. |
