Hey Shana, depending on what you plan to do while you're there, you might want to leave your munchkin at home - I know with Buddy he gets antsy when he's out of familiar surroundings and if I'm trying to work or do business it can sometimes be a distraction and I can get a lot more done if I leave him with with friends. Also, you'll find that simple things like going out to dinner can be a challenge because you can't leave a dog alone in most hotel rooms.
Also, you'll have that much less to worry about in preparation for the trip. But, if it's a quick trip, and you have a mellow pup, and you just do room service or take out, it could be a fun trip for the 2 of you!
