Yeah, I've crossed the line to overprotective. I think I realized it last weekend when we went camping with a friend who breeds chesapeake bay retrievers, you know, working dogs. You should have seen her reaction when I unfolded the Xpen to keep them from wandering off, then hopped in to keep them company. Of course, then I put on their Woolrich parkas, and yes, at night jammies for the tent. When neither one would eat, I pulled out the Nutri-Cal so they'd have some calories to fend off the cold. When they got tired of walking, I picked them up.

But is that overprotective -- or adequately protective? Hmm..
