Hey Shana, I have flown with Vivi three times...all on Continental. She was allowed on the plane in coach....they are very specific about the size of bag and list the specifications on their website. Check the animal requirements of the airline you want to travel. You have to buy a ticket for the dog....for Vivi it was 50.00 each way. We went to Atlanta as well as Florida. We also had to have a note from the vet saying that she had all her shots and was healthy to travel. So far they have never asked to see it. Hope this helps....Hugs
