I agree!!!! Don't do anything to scare that little baby!!!! She is just young and frightened. Getting mad at her for whining at this young age will only make things worse and may scar her for life! I think the pennies in the can are for older dogs who bark all the time. I agree with Nobella, you just need to let her whine it out...or put her in the bed wtih you. Who knows...you may get MORE sleep wtih her sleeping with you and not whining than her whining all night. I let my 2 sleep in bed with me from day 1 and they never whined. I wrapped them up in a towel and made them sleep on a towel so if they did pee during the night, it would be on a towel. You will be surprised how infrequently they pee when they are sleeping. She is probably peeing so much at night because she is up the whole night! I would try letting her sleep in bed with you on a towel
