Hmm ... my boy has a bald spot on his side, its quite big around about an inch in length.
There was no scabbing or any damage there, I just happened to notice while brushing him one day.
As I had to go the vets anyway, I showed it to him and he just said it was a "birth defect" and that it would always be bald and we just had to accept it.
I have never heard that the rabies shot can cause balding, and it would of been roughly after his rabies shot that I discovered the baldness.
