Lexi's Mommy, I'm sure everything will turn out OK with Lexi. Did the vet say there was any reason for alarm cause of the missing kidney? Will you have to be more watchful? I don't really know. As for the pain meds, after Bo's neutering, his vet sent home some anti-inflamatory pain meds, enough for several days, cause Bo also had a dew claw removed and teeth pulled. It especially seemed that late at night if Bo started to get kinda manic and restless, I'd give him a pain pill he was able to settle down and go to sleep. These little ones can't tell us they are hurting. But if the vet gave them to you, use your intuition, and go ahead and give her one if you feel she needs it.
