I'm not sure how old he was when he was neutered, but my guess is it was in the last few years. He's 10 now. My vet said, and I confirmed it online, that unneutered dogs face a bunch of health risks, and a perianal hernia (some call it a perineal hernia) is one of them. My dilemma is it's a $700+ surgery, and he's in no pain from it. There are risks to doing it and not doing it, so I've put it off.
Yeah, talk to your vet about Mojo if you're not going to breed. I don't think 3 is too old at all.
