I'm just curious as to whether or not she's telling me the truth about whether or not this is the way his fur is, or if it will really thicken as he gets older.
There's a LOT of money to be made on small dogs in NYC and I find that people in the business are very careful about what they tell the dog owners for fear of losing their business. It's a difficult, highly competitive business, and the customer is always right. They're very good groomers, and they're really kind to the animals. No cages, no blower ovens, etc., and a really fair price for grooming.
By the way, yours are both adorable, whatever cuts they have. I just got a disposable digital camera and will post Max's picture as soon as I get the disc.

Hi again Judy, Chloe is 14 months old and her hair got thicker as she grew older. Sissy's is still fine but my groomer says they are all different. Chloe's was skimpy and so baby fine thin when she was little, (Sissy at 7 months feels thick in comparasion - age wise) but yet the groomer still felt she was thin so who knows...
Anyway I was just in Brooklyn, I bought Sissy at Puppy Petite near you. If I had know the mark up before I made the trip, I would have bought her here in Michigan but Chloe & my G'ma fell in love with her when we went to visit. (She is hard to train & sneeky and an instigator with Chloe) We love her, but I think Puppy Petite runs a puppy mill from what I am reading

I can tell so many differences in her & Chloe, I do hope it is personality and not puppy mill material, next time I know better...
As far as grooming goes, my sister is a great groomer, she lives in Long Island but visits my G'ma every weekend in Richmond Hill Queens ( not far from Brooklyn) so if you ever need a 2nd opinion on what to believe or what not to, we may be able to get it from her. Next time I'm in NY we should try to get together.
