 When to spay?
I all, I am a new Yorkie owner and am wondering at what age in general it would be o.k to spay my baby. I would like to do it before her first heat, and I am unsure as to when that might be. Is 5 months to early? I have heard that if you do it to soon then your dog will never grow out of its puppy tendancies or mentality. Is this true?
I am returning home at Christmas and would like to have our vet there do the procedure because I am familiar with her. Bella will be 5.5 months at that point. What do you think? |
