Yorkie sitting is a great thing to do when you're considering a Yorkie - though one thing to consider is that this dog will be bonded to someone else, so may not behave the same as yours would.
Re: outside - the other thing I haven't seen mentioned is the *barking* Some Yorkies are big barkers (mine is!) - that's why I have to have day care for Mr. Bud Man - or my neighbors would run me out on a rail!
