here in Arizona, it is against the law to leave an animal in a car for ANY length of time at ANY time of year. I have never seen it done. If I have Edie with me, I always take her inside in her bag. Most stores realize that you can't break the law by leaving the dog in your car, so they are generally cooperative. (Mostly they don't even know Edie is in the bag). It is also against the law to tie a dog out.
This state isn't the greatest for animal rights but there are a few things that are good about it. |
