I learned the hard way. Feb 2005, I took my yorkie, Prince, with me and left him in the car. He usually slept in there (not a hot or cold day) and I left the windows cracked. I took him because my cleaning lady was coming and I forgot to book him to stay at the dog sitter, so I took him while I was inside taking a test at school. Oh my god, that was the biggest mistake of my life. I came out, my car had been broken into (windows smashed) and Prince was gone. I loved that dog with all my heart, I guess I didn't love him enough to protect him and not leave him in the car. I was then notified about 3 weeks later that his body had been found (he was microchipped). Hit by a car. I mean whoever took him just stole him and let him loose! I just died. I am still not over that whole situation and it took me this long to even consider getting another Yorkie. Point is, keep your babies safe and don't leave them in the car.

Oh my God, my heart is just aching right now Im so sorry that this happened to your baby. You must feel an overwhelming amount of greif. I guess this is a case of "live and learn" the hard way though. My prayers for you and your baby.
