If she's fine on the one or two hour trips I'm sure she'll do well. We take our Ginger everywhere, and stop every couple of hours for a short walk. -On really long trips, we try to find a state park where we can spend about an hour somewhere around the half way point. The hardest part is finding a place for us (humans) to eat. I either pack snacks, or we take our folding chairs along, go through a drive through and sit in whatever shade we can find. She gets food and water, we eat, and on we go.
Once the only shade we could find was in a large circle of grass beside the drive through lane. Everyone enjoyed waving at us as they drove up to order their food! LOL |
