I live in NYC and I just went to a vet called Dr. G at Animal Health Center on the Upper East Side. I don't know if this makes a difference, because I went on a Saturday (vet visit costs more) but my bill was 145. This included his 2nd DHPP shot, medicine for ear mites, the examination, strongid, and ivermectin injectable. 220 sounds extremely expensive to me also.
