Hi to all the yorkie lovers here! We have 2 yorkies, Duke, 2 1/2 and Scout, 3 months. We just got Scout 3 weeks ago. He's 2 lbs. and a ball of fire! The boys are adjusting to each other, although Duke is wondering what happened to his happy home!!!
We will be spending a few days next week on vacation in a hotel with the boys. We have taken Duke when he was very young with no barking problems but after he turned 6mos. he became more protective and would yap at every noise he heard (in a hotel room). Scout isn't a barker yet.
My main question is: Do you put your yorkies in a crate or kennel while you are out of the room? I bought a wire kennel for Scout, but he has never been in it. Duke has never been kenneled before either. I'm wondering about the two of them in a kennel together for a few hours because when they play/fight at home, Scout is always chewing on Dukes ears and nipping at him until Duke gets aggravated at him and moves to higher ground!!!!
I'm afraid it might be too much closeness for them confined together.
