It can take 18 months to 2 years, and i totally agree the taller they are the longer it takes, the breeder i got Duke from has all her dogs in a show coat by the time they are like 8 months, they are gorgeous, but its coz they are so small
also it depends on the individual, Mitzi and Duchess both have wooly coats and Mitzi grows three times as fast as Duchess
