My husband and I work full-time as well. We have two dogs however we still have a dog walker come in midday to walk them and to play with them a little. I think it gives them a nice break from the boredom.
If you can't afford two, then consider getting someone to come in when you are not at home to give the dog a walk and a bit of playtime. It's worth every penny to keep our babies happy!!
BTW, you will never be sorry getting a yorkie.They are the most wonderful, special dogs! My little Muffin is the love of my life and so affectionate. I just want to eat her up!
