If you wanna get two, get two. However if two seems like too much money right now, then just get teh one. I have a puppy who's 5 1/2 months. I've had her since she was 3 months. She is left alone every weekend for 4 hours clips. i leave the house at 7:30 and don't come hom till 12, and then i leave at 1 and come home at 4:30. she does just fine. she has toys to play with, water and food. she doesn't potty in her pen and she mostly just sleeps all the time.
