Please update how he is doing. I hope the meds have him back to normal. If not, please mention this to your vet....gosh, I'm trying to figure out how to say it. Anyway, I was talking to the guy who I buy my food from for my Yorkies. He told me about his 2 Yellow Labs that drink excessively and couldn't control their bladders because they peed excessively. He had them tested and tested.....it ended up being called Diabetes _________ something. Not just diabetes, but there was a word on the end of it. If you mention it to your vet, he'd know what it was. He also mentioned that his vet said that if the dogs weren't treated for it, they'd die without an ENDLESS supply of water. I sure do hope this isn't what your little guy has. Oddly, this guy has to put drops in their eyes every day....it cleared the problem right up. The hard part being that it cost $75.00 for one teaspoon full (enought to last him 12 days) and he can only buy it a teaspoon full at a time. I truly do hope your little man is doing much better. |
