I asked my vet 2 weeks ago when Roxy got spayed about the grass eating. Grass is her food of choice. She is constantly eating it when she is outside. He said some dogs will graze like a cow and it will not hurt them. They just like it. But it does make for some pretty stinky poo's.
Just make sure there is no nightshade or foxtail grass around.
