I think there are cat lovers and dog lovers and those that love both speciaes and to me amy is passionate about cats..thats wonderful,I understand her pasion because THATS how I feel about yorkies.My mum is a cat person and we have had cats around all our lifes (my dad is a dog lover and weve also had dogs) so when I said that I think that cats dont really love their owners like dogs do,Im saying this out of my own experience
I can compare both species because Iv grown up with them both and I preffere the way dogs are..theres nothing in the world that can compare to the loyal,affectionate,trusting and just amazing personality of any dog
Cats couldent care less and I learnt this the hard way.I will explain..
When we moved here to spain from england,we had 3 cats and a small dog whom we had to leave behind.I was devistated and just the thought of leaving my babies was terrible! We found homes for them all and a week after arriving here my dad phoned each of the new owners to see how they were all doing..the cats,fine! They were eating,playing,sleeping,as fine as could be
But my little dog hadent eaten since we had left and they feared for her life.She did die in the end (2 months later)..she stopped eating and got terribly depressed and one morning she just didnt wake up...Us leaving her behind had killed her..Im sure she couldent understand why we had left her behind or why we werent coming to get her...The cats lived on to ripe old ages,infact 2 of them changed owners again and were fine,they didnt need us in particular at all.
Anyway (wow,iv gone on and on! lol) what Im saying is,if you dont really like or understand dogs or feel as passionate about them as you do for cats,maybe you should stick to cats?
I know it would be so much easier since they just sleep all day
