I think I will agree to disagree with all of you (because I will slow back out of the thread as well). There are parts of everyone's posts that I totally agree with. My cat, Scruffy, is affectionate and loves me dearly. In fact as I was reading this she was sitting next to me and I was petting her. Yet, my Alex is sitting on my lap and cuddling. Everyone needs to work with there pets to figure out the way to make the relationship work. However, my Scruffy isn’t as loving as Alex. She is loving in her own ways, don’t get me wrong. She loves to cuddle and what not but she doesn’t follow me everywhere like Alex. She does things on her own time and Alex does things on my time for me. Every animal deserves love and appreciation. And as many hugs and kisses! Ok, there are my two cents. Hope this made sense and that I don’t offend anyone.
