I have a yorkie and a maltese and if you want calm, I would go for the maltese. She likes to sit on your lap and fall asleep and then my little boy yorkie loves to run and play. He doesn't really like to sleep a lot. They are both so cute though. Any dog you get, you will fall in love with them so it really doesn't matter!
