Ok..I have a 5 year old male cat and my two yorkies and to be honest,unless Rocky (thats my cats name) is hungry,I NEVER see him! and he is a totally indoor cat! lol.I have always been a dog person,I love my cat,dont get me wrong,but I honestly think that cats are not really pets,I mean,they dont really belong to us,infact,I dont think cats love anybody..they just follow those that feed them..at least thats what mine does lol.If Rocky is hungry out he comes and rubs his head against our legs,he will even come out every now and again to play with Lady and Jess,but he is no where near as affectionate as Lady and Jess and basicly wants to be left alone,he only shows interest in us when he wants something.He sleeps all day,he doesnt care if we come or go as long as he has something to eat and its true that a cat will only let you give him so much attention...once he wants to be left alone,thats it,hes outta there.Lady and Jess follow me everywhere,infact,If im on the couch they are next to me,if I move 2 inches to the left,they do too.Cats are totally independant..they dont need us like dogs do at all.Rocky is my boy and I do love him,but he doesnt love us at all..we are just his servants! lol. |
