I am glad you have never had any problems. 2 of the places won't allow the owner to be present........One groomer flat out shaved my dog even though I have NEVER gotten that done. I am there faithfully every 4 weeks for a cut and she always gets the bikini cut with pom poms......she's a toy poodle.
Anyhow, when I saw my dog I burst into anger and tears........the groomer said that my dog wasn't behaving well so she couldn't clip her pom poms so went ahead and shaved them off
Needless to say, I never went back! The place before that never did her ears or teeth! Though they charged me full price and swore they did
Before that I took her to Petco.........and she came back with fleas!!!
Now, she goes to a little old ladies home where she does grooming per diem.
