Default diet

Ditto Kimberly...I had a buyer call me and tell me her boy had not eaten in 5 days...I heard him barking..I asked what he was doing..she said he was running down the hallway chasing the cat..he should have been dead..or near death..he was actually eating 1/3 cup dry and for a 3 pound Yorkie, that is enough food.

IF she is healthy, active, pooping, she is eating enough to maintain good health. Pick a quality food and stick to it....Be careful changing foods, it makes them picky and they will never eat right. Try to relax..if she knows you are concerned, she has you right where she wants you...I never had a picky eater, no one died or became ill from skipping a meal or two....I always tell mine they have the choice to eat or not eat..they eat.

This does not apply to pregnant, nursing females, young puppies under 4 months..or the tinies.
