First Season! Did you're... Okay, I've read about so many problems that Yorkies can have, I think I've become paranoid! Fancy stopped eating very much of anything, so I boiled some chicken for her. She ate that twice and then turned her picky little nose up at it. I cooked some hamburger meat, same thing. Ate it once, then nothing. I got her to eat some pastrami from a Ruben sandwich I had, but then, last night she wouldn't touch that. She stopped playing as much as she usually does and started licking her little behind. I noticed some swelling and thought maybe she was coming in season (she's 10 months old). This was yesterday, this morning, we finally saw signs on our bed where she had been sleeping last night. Today she's playing and running around more, but she wouldn't touch the chicken, or cottage cheese. She did eat a little more of the pastrami that was left, but it wasn't very much. I sent my husband to get her some nutrical and while he was gone, I cooked some bacon. She ate almost 3 pieces and ate some Sonic ice (it's our favorite). We keep a small bowl of Science Diet puppy food down for her, but she just nibbles on it even when she's at full speed. Is this normal? My Dachshunds never had a problem like this , they ALWAYS ate and acted perfectly normal. I realize I have spoiled her totally rotten (as I am reminded by my children all the time), I am just concerned. Think I will probably take her to the vet tomorrow for a check up, but please can someone tell me if theirs goes a "little hormonal"??? |
