Toto is 16 months ... and you are right about them being smart!! I am amazed at how quickly they learn new things! The thing that amazes me more is how fast they are ... Toto is like lightening!
I think sometimes their estimates are right about doubling their weight at 12 weeks. Toto was 1 lb. 8 oz. when we got her at 16 wks., at 8 months she weighed 3 lbs. and at 15 months she weighed her present weight which is 4 lbs.! This, for one that the estimate was never, ever to weigh 3 lbs.!!
She has amazed everyone! Dr. Lucy weighed her 3 times the day she weighed 4 lbs.!!!
I think this is probably due to the fact that she doesn't get enough exercise ... and we have allowed her to become quite the "picky eater"!
