Not to get too off topic here, but I learned a very valuable lesson at that show. Dogs move differently on grass than on the indoor surfaces at shows. You have to watch out for dips and holes in the ground at the out door shows that will throw your dog way off that you would never have to think about indoors. (especially with a toy) Whew. It was nice flat ground (at a huge camp ground) but it still was much different than showing indoors. I now train my dogs indoors AND on grass. |
