I've had three dogs spayed and have never had a problem. They certainly did sleep a lot when they first got home, but within only a day or two, they were totally back to normal.

Try not to worry!

I had my little boy neutered last Monday. He couldn't keep his eyes open all the way home - but the minute I sat him down in the house, he ran over and kissed his best friend (my other dog) - drank a gallon of water, and ate like there was no tomorrow --- then he crashed for the rest of the day - and the next day, he acted like he had never had anything done. (He also had two teeth pulled.)
