My vet wanted to give Dublin a Heartworm test and it was $36. She said it wasn't necessary but it was recommended that they get it every year. Well, he had the test before he started the Revolution, hasn't missed any doses and we don't have a 'skeeter problem here... so I declined. It was $150 bucks for the visit as it was. (He had skin irritations that needed meds and needed a vaccine.)

When I got home I started second-guessing myself, so I asked an experienced breeder that I trust (who wasn't financially motivated ) and she didn't think he needed it either. So that put me at ease....
