Our Sara was spayed at 6 months of age and she weighed 3 pounds. They kept her all day, and when we picked her up she was drowsy and tired. She slept all night, and by the next morning, she was feeling great. We gave her pain medication for the first 2 days, but she was actually running and playing the next morning.
