She beat a prof handler and went up to her afterward and thanked her, becuase she has been competing agaisnt this handler for over 2 years and always lost to her. But she said she kept watching the handler, seeing what the handler did differently and boom, beat her 2 shows in a row. The handler was quite flattered.
When I showed the std poodle I talked with the prof handler, he said that my poodle had a better build but bevause he was only a 6 months and did not show well he would beat us with a poorer built poodle and he did, he could show that poodle so all eyes were on him and amazed. |
Have you read George Aliston's Book "The Winning Edge" great book. He talks about going in the ring with the attitude that your dog is the best, otherwise you might as well forget it. He talks about he can assess your dog in a matter of seconds and know how to beat you. He also has a video you can watch on your computer....I think you can do a google search on IAMS or Eckanuba to watch it. Very, very good.
