Ok. Here's my two cents worth.

Do I think you were wrong for not going and checking on the furkid?..........Yep.

Do I think it was irresponsible of you to go out and drink? Yes, but, we've all done that. For anyone can say that they would NEVER do it, either hasn't been there/done that, or they're too young.

Do I think you'll ever do it again? Nope.

Do I think she should leave you over this? Hell no.

The thing that gets me the most about some of these posts is that nobody has even mentioned the fact that at least you didn't lie about it!!! You could have lied to g/f, she'd never known it, she wouldn't be so upset, and you wouldn't have to defend yourself. I am in no way vindicating what you did, and I highly recommend that you NOT do it again. But at least nothing went wrong. Unless you didn't clean up the poop! But that's another thread!!

I'm gonna get bashed for this, I know. But like I said. You didn't lie to her and that counts for something in my book!!
