I'm 22 and my boyfriend and I went through college together. So I can definetly say that there have been plenty of nights when one of us has had too much to drink. For graduation, he got me my yorkie as a present. I can guarantee you this - if I had to go away for a few days and left my furbaby in his care he would NOT neglect him for 24 hours because he had too much to drink. Sure, he would still go out but he would make sure that the dog was well cared for. He understands how much that dog means to me and even if he didn't give two craps about the dog (which he does) he cares enough about me to know that I would be devastated if my dog was left alone for that long. I don't care if he had pee pads and fresh water; yorkies are needy, dependent little dogs. Their whole existence in life revolves around us, their owners and caretakers. Your going out like that was selfish and irresponsible and if I were your girlfriend I would be PISSED.
And another thing.. this is a peaceful forum where yorkie owners and admirers come to share stories and advice with each other. Your girlfriend came on here asking for advice from us. Don't come on here and bash us for giving her advice that she asked for. We don't appreciate your rudeness.
